Cool cupcakes with icing

2 cups self-raising flour or gluten-free flour
¼ tsp salt
125 g butter or failsafe margarine
½ cup sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
½ cup milk

Lay out 24 paper patty cases. Preheat oven to 180°C. Sift flour and salt. Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs gradually. Add flour and salt alternately with milk. Put in tin and bake 12-15 minutes. Ice with white or other icing (see Natural colours recipe) - (thanks to Dena from the facebook group for photo)
